Website Analysis – Two Sites, Two Very Different Results

I set up a temporary store using Yahoo while I worked on my final, custom-designed store. They are both running and custom store is now getting slightly more traffic than the Yahoo standard template store. I provide a packaged service that includes website critique and wide range of marketing ideas but is designed to meet the needs of each client. The work can be per hour or based on project.
- best source of fee for services which include marketing and research and website critique (some websites more complex so don’t want to give one fee for say a project fee for complete service if some websites more complex and time consuming to critique than others)
- as part of service provide short consultation for free and a needs assessment
- how do I promote buy in without providing too much information (e.g., sample of other site and/or feedback material) that client could use to do the work that I propose? Maybe provide one sheet from feedback form?
Website Analysis – Why Don’t I Get Customers From Search Engine?

My site has been getting top page positioning from all of the search engines. I also have ads running in key industry portals. I get plenty of impressions. I even get a very nice click through rate. I cannot seem to get anyone to actually subscribe. My product is very specialized. You have to enter a search for exactly what we offer in order to find my site. In other words you wouldn’t end up there by mistake. Keep in mind that the site is selling calculations to accountants so I can’t get too gimiky. I am at a loss I obviously thought I did it all the right way. Do you know where I went wrong?

Nevertheless, I would like you to look at my blog for two reasons. One, the small business that is featured on my home page should be featured under the Small Business of the Week page… though, I cannot figure out how to get it over there. I’m starting to think it’s not possible. If you are any good at this stuff I would appreciate help.
